(Photo: Observer file)WORLD Championships-bound Sashalee Forbes was the only Jamaican winner at Thursday's P-T-S 2023 in Slovakia, after she won the women's 100m in 11.10 seconds (1.4m/s). Hungary's Boglarka Takacs was second to Forbes in the women's 100m in 11.19 seconds while Viktoria Forster set a Slovakian national record 11.26 seconds for third place. Tracey ran a season's best 2:00.40 seconds to place third in the women's 800m that was won by Slovakia's Anita Horvat in 1:59.91 seconds, and Ethiopia's Hirut Meshesha was third in a season's best 2:00.24 seconds. Francis was third in the men's 400m in 45.87 seconds, France's Gilles Gibron was first across the finish line in 45.49 seconds, and Patrik Sorm of the Czech Republic was third in a season's best 45.75 seconds.
