Yuka Saso AFP FILE PHOTOAfter a strong 4-under 67 in the first round, Filipino golf sensation Yuka Saso faltered in the second of the ShopRite LPGA Classic 2021 on Sunday, October 3 (Philippine time) at the Stockton Seaview Hotel and Golf Club - Bay Course in New Jersey. The 20-year-old Saso scored a birdie on the fifth hole, a bogey on the eighth, and a birdie on the ninth. After a birdie on the 14th, Saso tallied another bogey on the 15th that put her 2-over in the course with three holes left. Saso, though, managed to salvage a 1-under in the penultimate round, parring the 16th, scoring a birdie on the 17th, and an eagle on the 18th hole. Starting on the back nine, the 23-year-old Pagdanganan tallied birdies on the 10th, 15th, and 18th holes to reach the turn on three-under.
