Newfoundland and Labrador is reporting X new cases of COVID-19 Saturday. (Lindsay Bird/CBC)There are no new cases of COVID-19 in Newfoundland and Labrador, making it five days since the last reported case. According to a news release from the provincial government, the total number of cases in the province remains at 268, while 263 people have recovered from the virus. Two active cases remain in the Eastern Health region of Newfoundland, a male and a female both between the ages of 20 and 39. The release comes after a COVID-19 outbreak was announced at the oilsands camp on Thursday.
