The Saudi Foreign Ministry said in a Saturday statement that Riyadh strongly trusts Cairo to refloat the container ship again by its outstanding experience, Saudi Press Agency reported. The Kingdom stands with Egypt by all its capabilities to contribute to supporting the Egyptian authorities' efforts. It also stressed its ongoing contact with the Egyptian government in this matter, showing its readiness for helping all the stranded ships in the Red Sea, the statement added. Being stranded at this point, the ship resulted in the suspension of the international maritime trade through the canal.
