Scanad Uganda and business consultancy firm Good Business have launched a public information campaign to educate the youth about health consequences associated with substance abuse. The campaign – Fly – will also give the youth a platform to showcase their talents and skills. “Not only is the target audience using harmful and illicit substances at a high rate, but many do not fully understand the negative health consequences of their actions," WPP Scangroup CEO Bharat Thakrar said. Through the campaign, teens will be supported to pursue their goals and make smart choices by steering them away from drug abuse. Youth who have reformed will be celebrated, and given an opportunity to share their experiences with others.
