PETALING JAYA: There will be a scheduled water disruption affecting 998 areas in seven districts in Selangor starting at 9am on Wednesday (Oct 13). Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) said that works are expected to be completed at 9pm on Oct 16. "The works had been delayed from the original schedule in 2019 and 2020 due to the raw water source pollution incident that caused large-scale water disruption in Klang Valley," Air Selangor said in a statement on Friday (Oct 1). Water supply will be channelled to users in stages from 5pm on Oct 14 after maintenance and upgrading works are done and water supply distribution system have been stabilised. Air Selangor will also prepare 18 public water taps for affected residents.
