The Ministry of Education initiated an urgent investigation into complaints submitted by a number of parents at a language school in Nozha neighborhood, Cairo, accusing a school official of raping three pupils. The accused is a partner in the school and is its legal representative. An official source with the Education Ministry revealed that the accused official was interrogated by Nozha prosecutors after he was arrested on Tuesday morning. The source clarified that the accused is “one of the partners in the school and not its director, as some have circulated”. Parents gathered in front of the school on Tuesday and then filed an official complaint with the police station of Nozha.
