Jesusegun AlagbeThe Ibadan School of Government and Public Policy has said there is a need to look into the trajectory of the economy and suggest policy frameworks that will ensure its growth. In a statement, the group said its first seminar in the year, which comes up later in the month, would focus on the economy. Titled, “Transiting from Bust to Boom: Fiscal, Financial, and Infrastructure Options,” ISGPP said the event would be hosted by its chairman, Prof. Akin Mabogunje. “The event will be chaired by Emeritus Professor of Economics, University of Ibadan, Prof. Ademola Oyejide. Also, member, Board of Economists and CEO, Economist Associates, Dr. Ayo Teriba, would deliver the lead paper, while the Economic Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari, Ambassador (Dr.) Adeyemi Dipeolu, will lead the panel sessions,” the statement added.
