The ministry issued a statement in this regard on Monday. In order to prevent the transmission of Covid-19 infection, all education institutions will remain closed, but their administrative offices can be open for official activities on a limited scale. Considering the situation, the Education Ministry has directed all educational institutions to open their administrative offices so that the authorities of the institutions can enrol students and conduct other clerical functions. The Islamic Foundation also issued a statement on Monday, saying all the Qawmi madrasas would be able to open their offices for administrative activities - i.e. conduct enrolment of the new batch of students - while maintaining proper social distancing and other health guidelines.
