Scottish posties have blasted the Scottish Government for its "unacceptable" delays in strengthening dangerous dogs legislation amid claims they are being attacked daily by angry pooches. It pointed out that Holyrood passed a motion calling for a review of Dangerous Dogs Law five years ago but there has been little progress since. It said that its members are being subjected to daily attacks while working, with a postwoman hospitalised following one of these in Argyll recently.
