A rugby fan from Scotland has been forced to miss the World Cup final after her father's dog ate her passport. Ellis McLeod was horrified to find Ashley the cocker spaniel had munched through the page of the document with her ID details. The 26-year-old from Dundee, had been looking after Ashley last week while her father was at work. Ellis, who paid £2,000 for her trip, continued: "I phoned the passport office and I explained what had happened. But days later, Ellis unfortunately finally spotted the remains of her passport whilst taking Ashley for a walk.
