Both missed the Scottish Cup win last weekend, but O'Neill confirmed Tierney will be involved against Motherwell and hopes McGregor will only miss one more game. The midfielder missed five weeks with an Achilles problem two years ago, but O'Neill says it is not a reoccurrence of that injury. "There were rumours flying around that this is what it was," O'Neill said on Friday. "He has done very well in recovery and we'd be hopeful for him for next week." Midfielder Arne Engels is also injured - along with long-term absentees Cameron Carter-Vickers, Alistair Johnston and Jota - and centre-back Auston Trusty will face the final match of a three-game suspension.
