Attacker Steve Davies doubled the lead in the 59th minute and although St Mirren beat already-relegated Dundee 3-2 at Dens Park it was rendered irrelevant. St Mirren had to better Hamilton's result against St Johnstone to escape a two-game shoot-out. Ryan Hardie spurned Livingston's chance from the spot before Ross Stewart denied Turnbull's hat-trick with a clever low save. Livingston showed the fighting spirit that has typified their season when Scott Tiffoney scored two goals in the final 10 minutes.
