Search for driver who reversed into woman at Co-op car parkShe suffered a head injury and was taken to hospitalView Image Co-op store in Cheltenham Road, Longlevens (Image: Google )A woman was taken to hospital with a head injury after she was hit by a car outside a Gloucester supermarket. ‌A red Volkswagen Golf was reportedly reversing out of a parking space at Co-op car park in Longlevens and hit a woman in her 70s, police said. ‌The driver and another man helped the woman to a nearby bench before the driver left the scene. ‌A spokesperson for Gloucestershire Police said: "Police are appealing for the driver of a car that collided with an older woman in a Gloucester car park to come forward. "The incident happened in the car park of the Co-Op store in Cheltenham Road, Longlevens between 9.35am and 9.50am on Thursday 19 March.
