Mr Ritchie-Bennett, friend James Furlong, 36, and a third man were killed when they were stabbed by a lone attacker while enjoying the sun in Forbury Gardens in the town centre just before 7pm on Saturday. Mr Ritchie-Bennett, whose mother Charlene is a retired police officer, worked for a law firm in London before he took up a job with the Dutch pharmaceutical company in Reading about 10 years ago. Friend Zoe Andrews, from Reading, paid tribute to Mr Ritchie-Bennett on Twitter, sharing a photo of them together. Mr Ritchie-Bennett's friend Mr Furlong, 36, was previously named as one of the three victims of the attack. Former pupil Molly Collins, who left the school in 2017, told the Radio 4 Today programme: "He was such a loved teacher.
