Business travellers from Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong and South Korea could soon be allowed to fly to Australia as part of a secret government plan. Under strict coronavirus restrictions brought in on May 20, no foreign travellers are allowed to enter Australia, and locals cannot fly abroad. New South Wales premier Gladys Berejiklian said she was 'concerned' about dropping the successful quarantine and allowing exemptions. The plan could see Australian officials test business travellers for coronavirus when flying between the two countries. Another plan could see business people allowed to quarantine for just seven days when they land in Australia, rather than 14.
