The President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, has expressed shock and sadness over the tragic news of the death of Senator Ben Uwajumogu who represented Imo North Senatorial District of Imo state until the sad incident on Wednesday. Lawan in a statement signed by his media aide, Ola Awoniyi, commiserated with the family of the deceased Senator and the government and people of Imo State over the tragic loss. Lawan also condoled with his colleagues in the upper legislative chamber over the demise of their colleague. He recalled that Senator Uwajumogu was full of life at the Senate Chamber on Tuesday, which made the news of his death even more difficult to take. The Senate President prayed that God Almighty would comfort his loved ones and grant them the fortitude to bear the loss.
