"We are seeing the continuation of a downtrend and we now have a range of 100-110 points. The pan-European Euro Stoxx50 was trading lower by 1.76 per cent at the time of writing of this report. Japan's Nikkei ended with losses of 0.40 per cent while the Hong Kong's Hang Seng index was down 1.20 per cent. Taiwan 's TSE100 was up 0.40 per cent.European shares took a beating with the German DAX leading the slump. The DAX fell 2 per cent in trade while the FrenchCAC40 was down 1.76 per cent.
