The mayor of Seoul has left a 'message like a will' and vanished mere hours before a 'sexual assault' allegation made by his secretary was due to be revealed on television. A huge search operation is underway to find Park Won-soon, 64, who disappeared earlier today. The SBS network reported that one of Won-soon's secretaries lodged a complaint with police on Wednesday night. Detectives say Won-soon's mobile phone signal was last detected in wooded hills in Seungbuk-dong, a district in northern Seoul, where officers are currently searching. A long-time civic activist and human rights lawyer, Won-soon was elected as the independent Seoul mayor in October 2011 with the support of the Democratic Party and Democratic Labor Party.
