Serbia & Luxemboug to Vote for Morocco’s 2026 World Cup Bid


President of the Serbian football federation Slavisa Kokeza said, following the friendly Morocco vs Serbia game, that his country will vote in favor of Morocco as host of the 2016 World Cup. Luxembourg also expressed support for Morocco’s World Cup Bid. During a visit to Luxembourg, members of the Royal football federation (FRMF) met head of Luxembourgish football association, Paul Philipp, who expressed his country’s support for Morocco’s bid. A FRMF delegation is touring Europe to gather support for Morocco’s 2016 World Cup Bid. Morocco is making its fifth bid to host the 2026 World Cup, the first edition to involve 48 teams and 80 games packed into 32 competition days.
