Emergency services were called to the crash at the intersection of Lineside and Revells roads in Flaxton near Kaiapoi about 11.20am on Saturday. A person has been seriously injured after a car and a motorcycle collided just north of Christchurch. A police spokeswoman said early reports suggested a car and a motorcycle had collided at the intersection and one person had been taken to Christchurch Hospital. A St John spokeswoman said a person was seriously injured in the crash and was taken to Christchurch Hospital. Another person involved in the crash was airlifted to Christchurch Hospital in critical condition, while one other had moderate injuries and was also taken to Christchurch Hospital.
