In fact, the session was marked by thin attendance of the Ministers as well. What was starkly evident was the lack of interest, irrespective of party affiliation, in handling issues related to North Karnataka. Only four members participated in the special debate on issues related to North Karnataka. The session also saw the rejection of a plea by two tabloid editors to reconsider the sentence passed over a breach of privilege.
