Seven issued summons after 'celebrating' arrest of Jimmy Lai

Seven people, including pro-Beijing group Defend Hong Kong Campaign's Fu Chun-chung, who "celebrated" the arrest of Next Digital founder Jimmy Lai Chee-Ying and other executives outside the publisher's headquarters at the Tseung Kwan O Industrial Estate have been issued fixed-penalty summons for breaching social distancing rules. One of them said earlier: "I voluntarily came here to express my view and I am very happy. The 'Han traitor' is finally brought to justice. He gets what he deserves as he has harmed Hong Kong for more than 20 years." A banner saying "criminally prosecute Jimmy Lai for assisting riots" was unfurled on the ground.
