The place where three school children lost their lives to drowning is also on the list of seven dangerous spots in the cityThe Mumbai Fire Brigade has identified at least seven spots along the beaches of the city which are dangerous to visit especially during the monsoon. "The seven dangerous spots on the city's beaches are high-risk spots for lifeguards as well. The seven spots are the entire seafront of Nariman Point, Dadar Chowpatty to Hinduja Hospital in Mahim, Bandstand in Bandra, Juhu Koliwada, Gorai, the seafront of Priyadarshani Park and Haji Ali in Mahalaxmi. There are six beaches in the city—Juhu, Versova, Girgaum, Aksa, Gorai and Dadar where residents visit to enjoy the monsoons. They should not venture into the sea during high tide and also stay away from the shore," added the fire chief.
