Some of the students, in a jubilant mood, expressed happiness over their upcoming graduation. This year’s graduation marks the 98th commencement convocation of the UL and is the first since the appointment of Dr. Ophelia Inez Weeks as President of the University. Weeks was inducted into office as President of the UL on September 14, 2017 following the retirement of Dr. Emmet Dennis.
