The average revenue lost per business per day during Cord's demonstrations against the IEBC was Sh48,304, Kepsa has reported. "This was mainly because they kept the business community informed of what was taking place on various streets in the CBD," read the report. The highest loss recorded by a restaurant in the central business district was Sh150,000 and the lowest Sh5,000 per day. The highest lost by forex bureaus was Sh60,000 and the lowest Sh3,000. Police had the second highest approval rating by the business community at 47 per cent for their roles in managing crowds and preventing looting.
