Shajol Chowdhury, who returned home on Saturday a week after being abducted, shared his grim experience with the Dhaka Tribune. “It feels like I came back from hell.”Shajol Chowdhury, who was abducted from Bashundhara residential area on March 11, is the owner of several businesses including a ship breaking venture in Chittagong. Unsure about who abducted him, Shajol explained how he came back: “I was blindfolded and I was put in a car around 10pm Saturday night. Before the Isha prayer, a few men claiming to be members of DB [Detective Branch of] police came inside and tried to pick me up from my house. On March 11, Shajol was kidnapped from his rented flat in the Bashundhara residential area, where he lived with his mother and son.
