Sharps selling up shopRachael Kelly/Stuff Liz and Colin Sharp have sold their shop after 32 years behind the counter in Gore's Main Street. The days of buying real fruit ice creams, that last-minute bottle of milk or a sneaky pie from Sharp's Fruit Supply will end on Tuesday when Colin and Liz Sharp close the doors for the last time. It hasn't just been Colin and Liz behind the counter though – their children and nieces and nephews had worked in the shop as well. He also thanked the wholesalers they dealt with and the fruit growers that supplied fruit for sale outside the shop – something the business was known well for. While the Sharps plan to stay in Gore, they have "no idea" what they are going to do when they leave the business.
