Black Lives Matter activist Shaun King on Friday claimed that the cities experiencing the worst police brutality are run by Democrats. King did not include any evidence to support the alleged links between police brutality and Democrat-run cities. Greg Fischer, a Democrat, is the city's mayor, serving with a 26-member city council comprised of 19 Democrats and seven Republicans. The New York City Council currently has 48 Democrats serving alongside three Republicans.
