Shaynah Ferreira joined the FOX 29 News team in August 2021 as a general assignment reporter and anchor. Prior to joining FOX 29, Shaynah was an anchor/reporter at WTNH News 8, the ABC station in Hartford, CT, for almost two years. Shaynah earned her BS in Broadcast Journalism from Emerson College in Boston. Shaynah is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists and the National Association of Hispanic Journalists. When she’s not reporting the news, she loves to travel, try new restaurants, and spend time with her tight-knit family.
