Share:Rawalpindi - Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed Khan on Tuesday underwent a medical examination at Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology in Rawalpindi, informed sources. It was a routine medical examination and reports of the interior minister’s medical tests were normal, said a spokesman of Lal Haveli. Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed returned to National Assembly after medical examination and cut a cake in connection with Christmas, he said. Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed Khan’s visit to the AFIC and reaching doctor’s clinic on a wheelchair rang alarm bells among political circles. However, MNA Sheikh Rashid Shafique, nephew of interior minister, denied the information saying, “Sheikh Rasheed is pretty healthy and doing his routine works.”Sheikh Rashid said Sheikh Rasheed attended various meetings besides cutting a cake outside National Assembly ahead of Christmas.
