Shocking satellite images have revealed the scale of the devastation caused by wildfires still raging in Turkey, showing a ten-mile-long burn scar across the country's south. The images, taken by the European Union's Copernicus Sentinel-2, used infrared bands to reveal several burn scars across the south of the country. The wildfires are now raging into their sixth day in Turkey, where at least eight people have been killed by the blazes. 'Like me, many inhabitants of Marmaris cannot put their heads on their pillow to sleep peacefully while these fires burn.' An evacuation order was also issued for the town of Turunc, near the seaside resort of Marmaris in Mugla.
