Share TweetBy Leslie Ann AquinoThe Associated Labor Unions-Trade Union Congress of the Philippines (ALU-TUCP) said the routine shortage of P100 bills in the payroll automated teller machines (ATM) is causing inconvenience and undue disadvantage on the part of minimum waged workers. Alan Tanjusay, the spokesperson of ALU-TUCP, said since most of the payroll ATMs were always unable to dispense P100 bills, minimum waged workers were unable to withdraw their entire salary. “It’s quite unfair that these type of bank clients are unable to get their entire salary at their time and convenience,” said Tanjusay. “We have brought this issue with the BSP to strictly require all the banks in the country to routinely replenish their ATMs with 100-peso bills.
