It keeps popping up in the news, and I really really really think we need to be paying attention to it…‘Unfair’ Police interview process forced false confession, says judgeA controversial police interrogation method that was implicated in a false confession is under fire from human rights lawyers, criminologists and psychologists. “You can’t blame the model for what happens in one interview.”…so according to the architect of this interrogation model, it’s not the interrogation models fault for a questionable confession being thrown out, it’s the way poorly trained detectives use it? Claiming it was operator error is simply devolving responsibility for something that he implemented.”…we wonder how Alan Hall was bullied into a false confession? It looks like the Police simply round up a group of possible suspects and bully one of them into a confession. How is this possible and how many innocent people are actually in our prisons if the cops are playing games of entrapment?
