KUALA LUMPUR: Acclaimed actor Bront Palarae's new film which exposes the dark side of the boys in blue is set to be screened for the first time in Italy late next month. One Two Jaga, produced by Bront and featuring a star-studded cast comprising Namron, Zahiril Adzim, Amerul Affendi, Rosdeen Suboh, Chew Kin Wah, Iedil Putra Alaudin and Indonesian actor Ario Bayu, will be screened at Italy's Udine Far East Film Festival 2018 from April 20 to 28. Better still, the film directed and scripted by Namron is competing for awards in the annual festival which is one of Europe's biggest showcases of East Asian films. Bront added that the film had been awarded a PG13 classification by the Film Censorship Board (LPF) and was fully supported by the Royal Malaysian Police. One Two Jaga follows the story of a rookie policeman played by Zahiril, who discovers that his superiors are involved in corruption, and is told to turn a blind eye to them.
