Dr. Hui called the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), arranging for my immediate admittance. The SickKids medical team actually had to put me in a tiny straitjacket so I’d stop interfering with the care I urgently needed. To this day, my parents credit my recovery to the dedication and teamwork they witnessed during their vigil at SickKids.
