‘The template I’m building here becomes a global template set-up under World Amateur Snooker, not just the UK Snooker Association. ‘Under the UK Snooker Association, our relevant UK Junior and Amateur academies will be held at the Ding Junhui Academy in Sheffield. England snooker SR Junior and Amateur academies will be there too. ‘I’m a great believer that we have so many leagues in the UK that can very successfully run SR junior and SR amateur academies. ‘SR junior clubs will be under-13, SR junior academies will be 13-17, SR amateur academy will be 18-and-over, all having chosen their own coach to be SR accredited.
