Market analysts said fresh positions created by participants in line with a firm trend in global markets , mainly influenced silver prices at futures trade.Meanwhile, silver rose 0.46 per cent to USD 16.41 an ounce in Singapore. NEW DELHI: Tracking a firm trend overseas, silver prices surged by Rs 112 per cent to Rs 39,122 per kg in futures trading today as traders built up fresh positions.At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in July rose by Rs 112 or 0.29 per cent to Rs 39,122 per kg in a business turnover of 203 lots.Similarly, the white metal for delivery in far-month September was trading higher by Rs 107 or 0.27 per cent to Rs 39,823 per kg in 2 lots.
