Simran starring Kangana Ranaut in the lead is one of the big Bollywood releases this week. Despite opening to mixed reviews from critics, Simran opened to decent numbers on Friday and reportedly collected Rs 2.77 crore. #Simran witnessed 35.74% growth on Day 2... Fri 2.77 cr, Sat 3.76 cr. Simran is based on the real-life story of 'Bombshell Bandit' Sandeep Kaur. The film sees Kangana stepping into the shoes of Kaur, but her character in the film belongs to Gujarat, as opposed to Sandeep, who hailed from Chandigarh.
