Boylan saidon Wednesday night she had been backed to be the Sinn Féin candidate by Dublin Central members. A spokesman for Sinn Féin said: “Sinn Féin councillor Janice Boylan was selected as the party candidate for the Dublin Central byelection and her name will now go forward to the Ard Chomhairle for formal ratification. The campaign starts now to elect Janice as the next TD for Dublin Central.”The Dublin Central byelection is one of two plebiscites to be held in May.
