Six children among 10 Bangladeshis handed over by BSF at Sherpur borderIndia's Border Security Force (BSF) has handed over 10 Bangladeshi nationals to the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) through the Nakugaon Land Port in Sherpur's Nalitabari. On Sunday afternoon, BSF Company Commander Sheikh Bashir formally handed them over to Mymensingh 39 BGB Hatipaga Camp Commander Subedar Abdul Latif, according to Nalitabari Police Station OC Md Sohel Rana. They are said to have entered India illegally on Aug 6. The BGB handed them over to Nalitabari Police Station at night to return them to their families on humanitarian grounds. However, the police officer could not provide any information about the area through which they illegally entered India and where they had stayed.
