At least six persons have been reportedly killed in Asaba, Delta State between Monday and Tuesday morning in Asaba, Delta State in what is regarded as renewed cult-related attacks. The victims who were suspected to be members of Black Axe Confraternity met their waterloo in different parts of the state capital. He was shot dead by his assailants in the presence of his wife who also sustained serious injury. Confirming the attacks, the acting Public Relations Officer of the state police command said he was aware that three persons were killed adding that “we have confirmed three killed and it is on cult-related matter, the police are on the situation,” he stated. Also, Nigeria is not part of the Arab League and there is no evidence that that league will make a statement about a non-member.
