There’s near the mountain and then there’s on the mountain, and ski-in/ski-out homes put you as close as you can go. “You can take your skis for a very short walk or click them on and you go out and you ski into the house,” says Carol Dopkin, an agent with Engel & Völkers Aspen. The homes are a commodity among skiers. “I think ski in/ski out impacts value hugely, everywhere,” said Ms. Dopkin.
