MICHAEL VAN GERWEN is majorly “out of sorts” at the oche, according to Sky pundit Wayne Mardle. The World No4 has failed to win a game in the Premier League since finishing runner-up on Night Two in Antwerp. The Dutchman was dispatched 6–1 by Luke Humphries in Cardiff on Night Five, adding to his woes as his scoring left him struggling. He said: “I said before a dart was thrown, I think Michael van Gerwen is out of sorts. I just thought Luke Humphries was too good for him.”Van Gerwen currently sits fifth in the table, one point outside the play-off places.
