Sky Sports reporter Patrick Davison issued an apology right at the end of his post-match interview with Eberechi Eze and Viktor Gyokeres on Sunday. The pair were whisked in for media duties after bagging braces in the 4-1 North London derby win over Spurs. Having a bagged hat-trick in the reverse fixture in his debut in the fixture, Eze scored his fourth and fifth goals against Spurs this season. Eze said that there were "probably not" simple and laughed, leading to Davison saying "sorry for the insult". The journalist then repeated the apology to Eze after he handed over the Player of the Match award to Gyokeres to close out the segment.
