Skye habitat project to benefit from Nature Restoration Funding


Skye Connect is one of five organisations to be awarded funding from the second round of the 2023/24 Highland Nature Restoration Fund. Meall na Suiramach Habitat Restoration Project will receive £25,000 from the Scottish Government’s capital fund designed to help support projects that will deliver nature restoration, safeguard wildlife, and tackle the causes of biodiversity loss due to climate change. The 2023/24 Nature Restoration Fund has three decision making rounds where applicants can apply for funding. There is still time to apply for Highland’s share of the 2023/24 Nature Restoration Funding.
