Slain Hizb-ul-Mujahideen commander Riyaz Naikoo likely to have a successor

The Pakistan terror group Hizb-ul-Mujahideen is likely to replace wanted terrorist Riyaz Naikoo, recently killed in an encounter in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama, with Saifullah as its new commander in Kashmir. Security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Awantipora eliminated top Hizb-ul-Mujahideen commander Riyaz Naikoo on Wednesday. The operation began on Tuesday night after the forces received a tip-off about the presence of Naikoo in the area. Naikoo had also released many videos and audios threatening informers and local policemen to stay away from anti-militancy operations. Naikoo was born in April 1985 in Beighpora village of Awantipora tehsil in Pulwama district and picked up the gun at the age of 33.
