Election officials have repeatedly offered assurances that bleed-through from the pens did not cause problems. And police escorted county election workers to their cars at the end of the night. By the late afternoon, the crowd of Trump supporters had dwindled to about a dozen, while a handful of people across the street waved Black Lives Matter signs.
