A snowfall warning has been issued for the La Ronge, Sask., area Sunday. Environment Canada said heavy snow will begin to fall across southern portions of the La Ronge region near Waskesiu Sunday morning, pushing towards Pelican Narrows later in afternoon. La Ronge is about 380 kilometres north of Saskatoon. Much of the province still has snow lingering after a nearly three-day stretch of snow earlier this week. Christopher Lake, Sask., was the snowiest spot receiving 42 cm of snow this week.
