Colombia captain James Rodriguez has spent the past three days in the hospital after showing signs of 'severe dehydration' following last week's clash with France. Colombia was beaten 3-1 by Les Bleus in Maryland on Sunday in a friendly game ahead of this summer's World Cup. On Thursday, the Colombian Football Federation released a statement revealing the former Real Madrid star had spent 72 hours in a hospital in Minnesota. The Colombian federation confirmed that Rodriguez 'has been under professional observation due to a medical condition of non-sports-related origin.' Rodriguez has made more than 100 appearances for his country and is set to captain Colombia at this summer's World Cup.
